Social and Life Skills Groups
These interactive groups are designed to help teach and improve the social and life
skills of individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome. Some people with Asperger's Syndrome
are able to meet the needs of society: furthering their education, holding jobs,
and generally being productive.
In addition, these groups often focus on those who find themselves in a more
secluded lifestyle or those who may be experiencing mild to severe difficulty with social
interaction, educational achievement, or occupational performance. These types of groups
often allow participants to work at their own pace as they learn how to handle
the many social, educational, and occupational encounters in their daily lives.
